2 Hours
Join us for our first class in the Lucky You Lounge as we host chocolatier Emma Rose, founder of Rosie’s Confections, for a guided chocolate tasting! Emma will walk guests through the journey from cacao pod to finished bar, using fresh cocoa pods imported directly from Ecuador and a curated flight of chocolates.
In this workshop, you will:
-
Learn a brief history of cacao, cacao farming, and taste the fresh cacao fruit straight from the pod.

-
Discover the “bean to bar” process and what truly distinguishes ethical, high-quality chocolate from commodity candy.
-
Taste more than six varieties of chocolate (plus a bonus confection) while learning a simple, step-by-step method for tasting—sight, sound, aroma, texture, and flavor.
-
Leave with a printed chocolate tasting guide so you can recreate the experience and share it with friends, family, or fellow chocoholics.
All samples for this workshop are un-infused; the focus is on flavor, craftsmanship, and appreciation. Attendees of the class will be able to shop Rosie’s Confections at a 20% discount after the class.

About Emma Rose
Emma Rose is the chocolatier and founder behind Rosie’s, known for bringing fine, ethically sourced chocolate into both the CBD and cannabis worlds. She began working with chocolate in 2017, studying under master chocolatiers around the country and eventually moving from a home kitchen into a professional chocolate kitchen in Vermont.
Her work has focused on two things: elevating chocolate back to its place as a true luxury food and making sure the cacao behind it is sourced transparently and responsibly through direct-trade partners. Today, Emma designs small-batch confections, bonbons, and caramels, and loves teaching people how to taste chocolate with the same curiosity and care they bring to wine.
