Join us this Saturday as we welcome in Life Arises Farm for their first Pop-Up in the shop! Co-founder & farmer Darby 
Weaver will be here to answer your questions about their homestead in Wolcott, a little slice of heaven in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Darby and her husband Elliot grow vegetables, cut flowers and cannabis utilizing organic and natural practices. Their small flocks of sheep and chickens contribute to farm-made compost harmonized by biodynamic preparations that feed the soil and the plants. The biodiverse environment that they have helped to create and nourish contributes to the rich aromatic profiles and phytochemical content of their cannabis flowers. We like to say that their flowers are truly a “taste of place”.
Darby is also a writer. We highly recommend her Substack, Along The Cosmic Mean, which explores, “the spiritual journey that erupts within us while walking along the erratic, living boundary between the soil and the stars”. Recently, she was also hired as a staff writer for The Farmers Land Trust, an organization that works nationally to transact farmland into community ownership to secure, affordable, and equitable lease tenure to next generation farmers using regenerative agriculture.
This pop-up is going to be a little different. Instead off offering a 20% discount on all products by the vendor 
during the event, we are going to donate 20% off all sales of Life Arises Farm products this weekend, 2/21-2/22, to The Farmer’s Land Trust. We will be fully stocked on Life Arises’ products at the time of the event. Darby is bringing a restock with her. Another great thing about Darby & Eliot? They roll and package to order.
