Miami Virtue:
Ingredients;
1oz Kavahol
1oz Pineapple Juice
.75oz Cream of Coconut
.5oz Lime Juice
.5oz Strawberry Ginger Syrup (recipe below)
Mixology;
Shake all together in tin with ice/Strain into glass/Add crushed ice/Garnish with pineapple fronds.
To make strawberry ginger syrup;
Take 1 quart of your ginger syrup, prep 2 pounds of fresh strawberries, and simmer them together on the stove for 10 minutes. Put everything in the blender and blend on high until strawberries are incorporated. Strain through a chinois, then strain again, and label and date. Will keep for up to two weeks, check for spoilage after that.
Ginger Syrup:
Ingredients;
1000g fresh ginger
1000g water
1000g white sugar
Directions;
Boil water and measure out 1 quart of water. Blend all ingredients on high in blender until sugar is dissolved and ginger is a pulp. Strain all ingredients through a chinois, be sure to press all liquid out of ginger pulp. Discard pulp and strain again. Package and date. Good for up to two months, check for spoilage after that.
