We’ve doubled down on our Crispy Chili selection from Brooklyn-based Onino. This past week, maker Cristy-Lucie Alvarado dropped a new, limited release, Sichuan version that has our tongues tingling and tastebuds singing. We are one of thirteen lucky stockists in the country, and the only one in Vermont.
Since we opened nearly a year ago, the original Onino Crispy Chili has been our number one selling pantry item. It is our favorite condiment. It goes well with everything, even ice cream. Seriously. Cristy recommends the Sichuan version when eating anything that leans Asian – think dumplings, noodles, soups, congee, etc.
You’ll get to try both and decide for yourself which best suits your home pantry. Onino also makes for a great gift this holiday season!
