We get a LOT of questions about the different types of cannabis extracts that are available in the shop. Cannabis extracts are sold as concentrates, in vape carts, and are used to infuse cannabis products like edibles, topicals and sublingual oils. The type of extract used and how the product is formulated is critical to understanding how each product might make you feel. This is your opportunity to ask an expert!
Eric Kawka is a founder of SPRING, a Vermont cannabis brand specializing in supercritical fluid extraction and 
purification. He holds a MS in Organic Chemistry with a specific expertise in natural product chemistry.
During this event Eric will lead a discussion on the basic principles of cannabis extraction and formulation, including, but not limited to;
- Differences in solvents used to extract cannabis
- Definitions for isolate, distillate, resin (live vs cured) & rosin
- Basic formulation methods (full-spectrum vs fractionalization)
- What is nano and why is it fast-acting?
After the presentation there will be plenty of time for Q&A. This class is suitable for all levels of interest and cannabis knowledge.
During the class we will provide complimentary alcohol-free beverages. After the class, students can purchase SPRING products at a 20% discount.
