We are excited to be participating in the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival for the first time! For 43 years, the festival has bringing top-notch musical talent to downtown Burlington, Vermont. This year the festival runs from June 3–7 with its most ambitious program yet, curated by MacArthur Fellow, pianist, and interdisciplinary artist Jason Moran.

On Saturday afternoon, the Lucky You Lounge will host Pale Green Pants, a Jazz Funk Trio based in the Burlington area. Finding groove in everyday places, sometimes holding tight to a form, and others following where it wants to go, Pale Green Pants blends inventive guitar with big-eared rhythm for a groovy listening experience.

Pale Green Pants Are:

Max Anderson on guitar. Max also plays with Frankie White & the Fuse, The Hive & Small Talk.

Glenn Goodwin on bass. Glenn tours internationally and can also be heard locally with Gumbo YaYa & other bands.

Felix Anderson on drums. Felix has been gigging locally for 25 years, most recently with Jenni Johnson & Gumbo YaYa.

We’ll be serving $5 AF cocktails during the event.
